Started this blog because I thought I would have something to say about beer at least once a week. But finding an interesting and original opinion is harder than you would think. So in order to keep the momentum going until something else occurs to me here is a top 20 Beer and Pub Tweets from last month, June 2011.
20) Is a convert to wee bottles of wine. They fit neatly into a bag or coat pocket, and represent good value for those looking to drink on the go @sundancemckid
-Yep, you've always got to be open to innovative ways of expanding your drinking repertoire

17) Wasn't really expecting burlesque dancing to the Andrews Sisters #GlasgowMela @ali_king

14) Ilkley Brewey Dark IPA 5%. Paisley Last Post. Reminds me of Andechs Dunkels without the sour waitress @OGCC

-Is this Beer or Ferry nostalgia you're indulging in here?
11) Good to hear that a new Real Ale pub @thelangside is opening up on the @southsidehap in Battlefield.Hopefully makes Clockwork improve... @Glasgow_Red
-And its always good to see someone on the Left putting so much faith in Market forces. What was it Stalin said about two steps forward, one step back when he allowed an element of private ownership in the collective farms to boost production?
10) Great quote from Zimbabwe Information Minister coming up...'The British problem is they behaved like a drunkard who climbed a tree overnight only to wake up in the morning naked and unable to come down and so conjures up all stories to justify why they are there, and it takes time to get down. We are prepared to give them a ladder @BobServant
-Bob cheated a bit by spreading it over three tweets, but too good a quote to omit. And lets face it we've all been up that tree at one time or another.
9) @thebonaccord is that another brewery name I see on your board?! @the3judges
-And the great Lets wind-up the Bon Accord about Brewery names on its Beer board campaign gathers pace with other pubs now joining in. Next thing you know there will be a dedicated hashtag.

6) Things you don't often see in pubs. The sword 'Excalibur' as used in the film. Bolton Arms, Old Basing http://twitpic.com/5fsj38 @AdamSh
-Don't remember the film Bolton Arms, was it it an Ealing comedy? Oh, wait. Yeah I see what you mean now.
5) Velvet Elvis staff need to improve the service. Smiles hard to come by... @barbiographer
-Should've told them you only need 34 muscles in your face to make a smile, but 57 to make a frown.

2) You know it's an entertaining evening when it's light when you leave the house, and light when you crawl home... @Molendinarbrew
-Or maybe its just an indicator of the time of year
1) In gallus. It isn't. @sundancemckid
-Brevity is truly the soul of wit. And of a good pub review
